Polite Playground collaborated with David Jones to host an exclusive fashion event at their flagship Elizabeth Street store. This partnership showcased international students on the cover of a customized "Jones" magazine, offering a unique blend of luxury and creativity.
Creating editorial-style shoots like those featured in ‘The Jones’ typically involves extensive time and resources. With David Jones launching their "Jones" magazine, they sought a tailored experience for VIP members, emphasizing instant delivery and exceptional results. Polite Playground stepped in to deliver.
For this particular event, our team was able to offer a scaled back setup to fit within venue restrictions. We crafted a sleek and sophisticated editorial outcome, using minimal resources —just a piece of fabric, skilled photographers and our trusty DSLR photo studio.
Participants posed against a backdrop draped with gorgeous Chartreuse fabric, evoking the style of the latest Autumn ‘Jones’ magazine issue featuring Australian model, model, Charlee Fraser.
Our in-house design team was able to create the digital magazine cover, featuring partners at Union pay, focusing on the influx of Chinese students returning to Australia through this gorgeous photo studio.
Our custom photo software did the rest of the work, with each participant's image overlaid with a digital magazine cover in real-time offering instant delivery via email and SMS.
