Polite Playground partnered with Durex to debut Glam_droid—Australia’s latest fusion of event technology and red-carpet robotics. Set against the iconic backdrop of Bondi Beach, the high-impact activation became the visual and emotional centrepiece of the Mardi Gras celebrations.
Inspired by Hollywood’s glambot, Glam_droid featured a high-speed robotic camera arm that captured guests in stunning slow motion, celebrating their most fabulous moments in cinematic style. Each video incorporated custom overlays and visual effects that seamlessly embedded Durex branding, transforming every clip into a bold expression of identity, confidence, and creativity.
The experience was designed for instant gratification, with digital content delivered via SMS and email within minutes, ready to be shared across TikTok, Instagram, and beyond. A seamless user journey, from intuitive queue management to a sleek on-site interface, kept the flow smooth and energy high throughout the event.
