In May 2023, Polite Playground were thrilled to be a part of the Afterpay Australian Fashion Week with Samsung, allowing users to transform themselves into the world of the Galaxy Z Flip through cutting-edge photography, fashion and poses that were on another level (literally).
At Polite Playground, our prowess lies in seamlessly integrating diverse technologies and photo booth softwares, catering to an array of devices, outputs, and creative visions.
When the team at Traffik asked us to deliver instant, high-quality photography using the latest Galaxy Z Flip phones at AAFW, we embraced the challenge wholeheartedly!
Not only did we excel in meeting the photography brief, but the results soared to new heights, with fashion reaching the pinnacle of coolness.
Aussie fashion luminaries seamlessly entered a bespoke Samsung universe, crafted through an interactive installation by our collaborators at Traffik. Subsequently, our task was to capture compelling content through our personalized, branded photo kiosk where users could effortlessly receive their images via email or text, alongside tangible printouts.
What’s the first thing #millennials do after getting a fresh new hairstyle?! Whether it’s just a cut or a full-on colour transformation – it didn’t happen if it’s not on social media. After students had their hair professionally dyed, they headed over to our PIXTA Pod ‘Selfie Station’ to capture the perfect shot.
