In celebrating Vegemite's monumental 100 years in 2023, Polite Playground embarked on an exhilarating journey to bring the iconic Vegemite jar to life. Through a blend of cutting-edge AI technology and creative vision, we crafted an immersive AI photo booth experience, inviting users to dive headfirst into the world of Vegemite (literally).

Leveraging our state-of-the-art photobooth software enhanced by AI capabilities, we redefined the concept of background removal, extending its application beyond static photos to captivating GIFs.

The conventional manual approach to background removal was notorious for its complexity and time-intensive nature. However, our innovative photo booth software, powered by AI, revolutionized this process, delivering rendered content to users in under a minute—an impressive feat in itself.

At the heart of the event stood our highly sought-after PIXTA Pod Booth, where attendees eagerly jumped into the playful illusion of emerging from a colossal Vegemite jar. They had the option to receive a timeless still photo alongside a tangible 4x6 print or opt for the digital experience, relishing in the creation of delightful GIFs. Instant digital delivery ensured a seamless and instantaneous sharing of creative content.

Curious to know what exactly a ‘styling bar’ entails? An epic pop-up salon in the middle of campus – styling chairs, wash station, blow dry bar, and professional hair stylists to look after your locks.

What’s the first thing #millennials do after getting a fresh new hairstyle?! Whether it’s just a cut or a full-on colour transformation –  it didn’t happen if it’s not on social media. After students had their hair professionally dyed, they headed over to our PIXTA Pod ‘Selfie Station’ to capture the perfect shot.

After students snapped their ‘before and after’ shots, they were able to instantly send their content to themselves using our social sharing software.
